Vale output cuts push Brazilian exports down

Brazil saw its iron ore exports fall up to mid-March, according to interim data from the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) monitored by Kallanish. Shipments decelerated as result of the partial reduction of Vale`s extractive mining activities after the Brumadinho dam rupture accident on 25 January.
