Brazil's iron ore exports decelerate sequentially in September
Brazilian iron ore exports slowed in September after hitting an 11-month high in the previous month, according to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data monitored by Kallanish.
Exports of iron ore reached 33.7 million tonnes, almost 3.2% less than August but 11.4% higher year-on-year. The September volume was the second-highest shipped so far in 2021 after the 34.8mt exported in August.
