Brazil’s iron ore exports decelerate in April
Brazil saw iron ore exports fall month-on-month in April, according to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data monitored by Kallanish. Year-to-date shipments abroad, however, remained higher.
April exports of iron ore reached 25.8 million tonnes, down 8.8% over March but 7.5% more on-year.
In January-April Brazilian exports were 107.04mt, up 14.4% over January-April 2020.
