Brazil’s iron ore exports becalm after nine-month high
Brazilian iron ore exports fell in July after reaching a nine-month high in June, according to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data monitored by Kallanish.
Exports of iron ore amounted to 31.7 million tonnes, down 5.7% over June and 6.7% less on-year. July’s volume was the second-highest so far this year.
Brazilian seven-month exports were 198.6mt, up 112% over January-July 2020.
