Brazil’s Gerdau to raise prices further
Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau is preparing a price increase for all long and flat products to its distribution network. The company indicated this to analysts during its second-quarter conference call monitored by Kallanish.
Gerdau plans to adjust its rebar levels by 6-8% in August, following the 10% increase implemented in July. The steelmaker also affirmed it will raise flats prices by 11% from September.
