Brazil's flats sales seen falling after March`s growth
Flat steel sales from Brazil’s distributors and service centres rose sequentially in March, Kallanish notes. Shipments in April are however expected to decrease by 15% month-on-month. National steel distributors’ association Inda also sees purchases falling by 5% after a strong March.
In March, distributors’ sales totalled 382,900 tonnes, up 27.3% over the previous month and 17.7% higher compared to 325,400t a year earlier.
