Brazil's flats exports slump, imports rise in November
Brazilian flat steel exports fell month-on-month in November, Kallanish notes. According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, imports surged in the month.
Exports of carbon flat-rolled plated and coated steel reached 29,400 tonnes in November, 59.1% less compared to 71,400t in October but 55% higher on-year. 11-month exports amounted to 439,197t, an increase of 25.3% y-o-y. The value of these also remained 65.6% …
