Brazil’s CSP slab exports rise in 2021
Brazilian slab producer Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) saw its shipments decrease in December. Full-year 2021 exports, however, remained higher than 2020, Kallanish learns from data issued by the local port authority.
In December alone, shipments reached 209,210 tonnes, down 16.5% compared to the previous month and 82,448t less year-on-year, the Pecém port terminal data show.
