Court orders Vale to pay ferronickel mine compensation
Brazilian miner Vale has been ordered to stop mining activities at its Onça Puma ferronickel mine in Ourilândia do Norte, Kallanish learns from the attorney's office in the Pará region. The public civil action was filed in the first region federal court as a result of Vale not complying with a condition agreed by the company in its previous licence.
