Brazil's carbon flats exports rise, alloys drop
Brazilian coated and non-coated carbon flat steel exports increased sequentially in August, Kallanish learns from the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data. Shipments abroad of alloy steel, however, fell.
The growth results from the normalisation of domestic demand and replenishment of inventories by steel end-users, as well as attractive international market prices.
