Brazil's coated and alloy flats exports fall
Brazil saw both coated carbon and alloy steel flat-rolled product exports fall on-year in August. Shipments abroad of non-coated flats, however, increased, Kallanish learns from the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic).
Mdic has expanded its reporting system since February 2020, replacing the general flat steel volumes by introducing specific data in the three categories.
