Brazil`s authorities request Vale compensate for Brumadinho accident
The Brazilian State of Minas Gerais, the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Attorney General's Office filed a petition for compensation and freezing up to BRL 26.7 billion ($4.7 billion) of Vale's accounts due to socio-economic losses caused by the Brumadinho accident in 2019.
