Brazil's August semi-finished steel exports rise
Brazil’s exports of semi-finished products increased on-year in August. January-August shipments were meanwhile more or less flat on-year, according to Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) figures monitored by Kallanish.
The country exported 696,000 tonnes of semis in August, up 8.2% compared to the same month in 2019. This volume was also 5.3% higher versus the 661,000t shipped abroad in July.
