Brazil’s April semis exports, imports decrease
Brazilian exports of semi-finished products fell month-on-month and were weaker year-on-year in April. Imports continue to decline, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, the country’s semis shipments abroad totalled 529,000 tonnes in April, a fall of 124,000t from March and 10.2% lower compared with the same month last year.
