Brazil's April carbon flats exports drop, alloys rise
Brazil saw carbon flat-rolled exports decrease month-on-month in April, but the country's alloys shipments rose, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, exports of carbon flat-rolled plated and coated steel reached 38,000 tonnes in April, down 37.4% on the previous month and also 5% less on-year.
Four-month exports amounted to 177,376t, up 27% y-o-y. The value of these was 131.6% high…
