Brazilian iron ore exports dip in first quarter
Brazil`s iron ore exports decreased year-on-year in March, according to the National Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) monthly data monitored by Kallanish.
March exports of iron ore fell by -2.1% on-year to 21.7 million tonnes. Shipments, however, were almost flat compared to those in February. Brazil exported 70,073,539t of the product in the first quarter of 2020, down by -16.8% on the corresponding period of last year.
