Brazilian flats sales grow in December, forecast positive
Flat steel sales by Brazilian distributors increased year-on-year in December 2019, Kallanish notes.
The sector is anticipating the positive momentum will continue also into January, says national steel distributors’ association Inda. Flat product sales from distributors and service centres in Brazil are set to rise 10% on-month in January, while purchases will stay almost flat, according to the Inda forecast.
