Brazilian steel imports/exports fall in first quarter
Brazil saw its both steel imports and exports fall in the first quarter of this year, Kallanish learns from data issued by local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB). Brazilian steel trade flow, however, behaved differently in March alone. The country saw its shipments abroad rise while maintaining a lower level of imports year-on-year.
