Brazilian semis imports hit record despite export growth
Brazil saw a sharp increase in semi-finished products imports in February, Kallanish notes. Growth was supported by the recovery in domestic consumption.
According to Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, February also saw an increase in exports, but shipments could not offset the widening trade imbalance.
