Brazilian court confirms MMX Mineração bankruptcy
The 6th Civil Chamber of Rio de Janeiro Court has upheld MMX Mineração e Metálicos’ bankruptcy, Kallanish learns from the troubled miner. The resolution also involves its subsidiary Corumbá Mineração.
The court rejected a request from the mining company to revoke a decision that declared the company’s recovery plan as unfeasible. The court said MMX has no possibility to pay debts and continue operating.
