Brazilian automotive output improves in 2021, outlook positive
Brazil’s automotive sector increased production and domestic sales in 2021, Kallanish notes. The industry achieved its highest performance in December amid the persisting global semiconductor shortage.
According to local automotive association Associação Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veículos Automotores (Anfavea), the sector is expected to continue improving its main indicators in 2022.
