Usiminas settles anticompetitive conduct suit
Brazilian steelmaker Usiminas says that it has entered into an agreement with the country’s competition regulator, Cade, to end all disputes related to allegations of supposed anticompetitive conduct. The settlement also involves all demands over controversies related to the former Companhia Siderúrgica Paulista (Cosipa), which was merged into the company in 2009, Kallanish notes.
