Brazil’s September iron ore exports hit five-year high
Brazilian iron ore exports in September were the highest in a single month since December 2015, according to a National Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) report monitored by Kallanish.
Iron ore exports were 18.5% higher on-year in September at 37,856,041 tonnes. These were also 21.1% more compared to the 31.3 million tonnes shipped in August.
