Brazilian bar exports continue to recover, imports rise

Brazilian bar exports grew sequentially in October, according to Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data. Imports, meanwhile, also increased following three months of stabilisation, Kallanish notes. The data includes iron and steel bar, along with angles, profiles and sections. Brazilian bar shipments abroad totalled 69,100 tonnes in October, up by 16.1% month-on-month but down 14.1% versus the same month last year.…
