Brazil sees semis exports reduce in April
Brazil saw semi-finished products exports decrease month-on-month in April, Kallanish notes. According to Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, imports also fell slightly in the period.
Shipments abroad totalled 642,000 tonnes in April, down by 36.1% m-o-m but 3.4% more versus the same month in 2020. Four-month exports totalled 2.62 million tonnes, or 10.4% less compared to January-April 2020.
