Brazil grows iron ore shipments in March
Brazil’s iron ore exports rose in March, according to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data monitored by Kallanish. First-quarter shipments abroad were also higher.
March exports of iron ore reached 28.4 million tonnes. This volume represented an 18.3% increase over February and also 34% more on-year.
First-quarter Brazilian exports were almost 81.3mt, up 16.9% over January-March 2020.
