Brazil’s February iron ore shipments fall on-month
Brazil’s iron ore exports decreased month-on-month in February, according to monthly Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data monitored by Kallanish. They rose year-on-year, however.
February exports of iron ore rose 10.9% over January to 24 million tonnes. This was however down 27.5% on February 2020.
January-February Brazilian exports were almost 52.9mt, up 9.5% over the corresponding period of last year.
