Brazil drives Turkey’s May iron ore imports surge
Turkey’s iron ore imports soared 137.3% year-on-year to 967,650t in May thanks to a significant volume of intake from Brazil. The total average value/tonne of the overall imports went down to $66.1/t from $84.4/t a year ago, Kallanish calculates from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
