Brazil distributors' flats sales, purchases rise in June
Flat steel sales and purchases by Brazil’s distributors and service centres rose both month-on-month and year-on-year in June, Kallanish notes. According to the National steel distributors association, Inda, these should fall in July, with an estimated decrease of 1.5% month-on-month.
In June, distributors’ sales totalled 338,700 tonnes, up 7.3% from May and 19% higher compared with 284,600t a year earlier.
