Brazil automotive sector to resume production in May
The Brazilian automotive sector in anticipating a resumption of activity, Kallanish notes. The restart of production, however, should happen gradually during May, Luiz Carlos Moraes, the president of the local automotive association Anfavea says. The coronavirus outbreak caused the sector's revenue to fall by nearly -80%, while 43 of the 62 plants in the country still remain halted, he confirms.
