Brazil approves three iron projects as strategic
The Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) has prioritised three iron projects, two of which are from Vale and one by Sul Americana de Metais (SAM), Kallanish notes.
According to the strategic minerals project analysis inter-ministerial committee (Ctapme), these projects are in the licensing phase. The commission assists mining projects relevant for the expansion of national production within the scope of its strategic pro-minerals policy.
