Brazil aids further Egypt export recovery in January
The value of Egyptian steel exports surged 30% on-year in January to $64 million, according to Egypt’s Export Council for Building Materials, Refractories and Metallurgy Industries. This was driven by a 27% rise in shipments to Saudi Arabia and 156% surge to Spain, while Brazil took in $14m versus virtually zero a year earlier.
