Bowen's Isaac River project receives environmental approval
Australian coal miner Bowen Coking Coal says its Isaac River project has now been formally granted approval under the Commonwealth Government Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC).
The Isaac River project, once operational, will produce high quality, high yielding metallurgical coal at up to 500,000 tonnes/year for approximately five years, Kallanish notes.
