Bosnia's Steelmin plans ferro-silicon production restart in 2018
Bosnian alloy producer Steelmin is working on the refurbishment of its idled ferrosilicon smelter, with production restart planned in the first quarter of 2018, Kallanish learns from UK-based natural resource developer Red Rock Resources.
Red Rock Resources has agreed to finance Steelmin to enable it to complete the refurbishment. In return it will get a stake of up to 30% in the Bosnian firm, Red Rock says in a statement.
