Bosch eyes automotive semiconductor production by September
Bosch has opened a €1 billion ($1.21 billion) semiconductor manufacturing facility in Dresden, Germany. This is expected to significantly ease automotive chip supply shortages.
First production is expected in July, six months earlier than planned. However, chip production for the automotive sector will start in September, three months ahead of schedule.
