BMZ ramps up output, sales in 2019

Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) continued to ramp up output in 2019, despite the tense market situation created by increasing protectionism and price declines, the company says. The steelmaker's output of crude steel increased by 4% on-year to 2.6 million tonnes, with saleable steel products output rising 4.6% on-year to 2.3mt, Kallanish notes.
