BMI maintains 2024 steel forecast
BMI maintains its 2024 global steel price forecast at $740/t. It still expects a long-term downturn till 2033, despite starting from a higher level. China's strong exports, growth from the automotive industry and India's stronger demand are expected to support prices in the coming months, Kallanish notes.
