Black Diamond buys joist fabricator
Steel holding group Black Diamond Capital Management has acquired fabricator Valley Joist, Kallanish understands.
Valley operates facilities in Nevada and Alabama. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, though Valley was formerly a division of EBSCO. Black Diamond’s portfolio includes Bayou Steel Group, which produces light structural shapes and merchant bar.
