Bishi slows Indonesia steel project on environmental problems
Hebei Bishi Group's steel mill project in Indonesia has been restricted by the local Area Spatial Plan Bureau (RTRW) and therefore progress has been slowed, Kallanish notes.
Since the site of the project is located on the coastline and also encroaches on a protected area with mangroves and rivers, the local government believes it will cause damage to the environment.
