Billet outpaces ASEAN finished steel prices
Importers and suppliers of billet are at odds in Southeast Asia, Kallanish notes. Bullish suppliers keep pushing prices higher. But regional re-rollers cannot keep up because domestic rebar markets are trailing behind.
