Bhushan Steel completes hot strip mill expansion
Bhushan Steel has completed the increase of its Dhenkanal hot strip mill capacity by 1 million tonnes/year to 5m t/y, following a temporary shutdown of the unit, Kallanish learns from the heavily-indebted Indian steelmaker.
Separately, Bhushan Steel chairman B.B. Singal has been released on bail and his sentence suspended for 60 days after a Central Bureau of Investigation Court order in a case related to Bhushan Industrial Co., Bhushan Steel says.
