BHP’s iron ore production, sales increase
BHP’s production and sales of iron ore are showing an upward trend, Kallanish notes from the firm’s June-quarter operations report.
The company produced 75.59 million tonnes of iron ore in the three months through June, its fourth fiscal quarter, showing an 11% increase from the previous quarter and a 6% increase year-on-year.
Production in the six months through June was 144mt, up 7% y-o-y.
