BHP, OZ Minerals extend takeover exclusivity period
Australian copper and nickel producer OZ Minerals has granted global miner BHP another week to finalise its AUD 9.6 billion ($6.42 billion) takeover bid, Kallanish notes.
According to both parties, the exclusivity period has been extended for a further week until Tuesday 27 December 2022.
This follows confirmation by BHP to OZ Minerals of completion of due diligence and of the proposed cash price of AUD 28.25 per OZ Minerals share.
