BHP officially opens South Flank
Australia mining giant BHP marked the official opening of its South Flank mine at a celebratory event last Thursday. The company has already completed the first production and shipment from the mine to China’s Baowu Group in July, Kallanish notes.
The ceremony was attended by Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan, Banjima Traditional Owners and joint venture partners, ITOCHU and Mitsui.
