BHP iron ore trains halt for a week

BHP will not operate trains carrying iron ore between mine and port in the Pilbara for a week after an accident on Monday. The miner was forced to deliberately derail a runaway train after it ran for almost 100km with no driver, Kallanish notes. The train, consisting of four locomotives and 268 wagons, had capacity to carry some 35,000 tonnes of ore.
