BHP flat-pack iron ore cars to boost manufacturing
Global miner BHP has announced an industry-first initiative to construct 140 “flat pack” iron ore cars over the next four years in Perth, Kallanish notes.
The initiative will see a collaboration between BHP, UGL (part of CIMIC GRoup), and Qiqihar Railway Rolling Stock (QRRS), with the support of the state government.
