BF3 re-launch raises Zaporizhstal's January steel output
Ukraine's Zaporizhstal posted a year-on-year increase in steel production in January, thanks to the commissioning of its blast furnace No.3 after repairs, Kallanish learns from the integrated flat steelmaker.
Zaporizhstal's January pig iron production rose 37% y-o-y to 394,100 tonnes, crude steel output went up 11.3% to 363,000t and finished steel production was up 11.7% to 301,900t.
