Beshay Steel commissions long-delayed DRI plant
Egyptian long steelmaker Beshay Steel has finally commissioned its long-delayed new direct reduced iron plant, Kallanish learns. The unit will aim to reduce steelmaking costs by eliminating the need for costly scrap imports.
