Benelux scrap suppliers target higher prices
Scrap prices in the Benelux continue rising amid the shortage of supply. Although scrap exporters have further increased their quotes, they are still facing difficulties in sourcing as local suppliers are targeting higher prices.
Most exporters’ dock prices have increased to €305-310/tonne ($371-377) delivered for HMS 1&2 80:20 from €290-295/t last week, but exporters are yet to source their desired tonnages of material.
