Benelux scrap softens amid export uncertainty
The Benelux scrap market has started the week slowly as exporters remain mostly cautious about purchasing material because they are unsure how demand will proceed in major export destinations, India and Turkey. Amid the uncertainty, a slight decline was observed in Benelux scrap prices on Monday.
Exporters’ dock prices in the Benelux were pegged mostly at €295-305/tonne ($312-323) delivered on Monday, down from €300-305/t a week earlier.
